My Take on Planning, Progress and Strategy

In today’s podcast, I’m going to talk about several different things. Things like planning, making progress and forming a strategy. Starting is often the easy part. It’s sustaining the effort or the plan that’s difficult.

That’s why, out of necessity, I’ve spent years figuring out how to turn 7-step processes into 3-step processes and so on. Fewer steps require less effort. When there is less to do… what you do can be done at a much deeper level. That’s where true mastery can finally be achieved.

It’s not just about effort, it’s about sustainability. At the end of the day, the plan you stay with over the long term will be the one that has the greatest chance of transforming your business and life.

The problem is, we overestimate our personal “stick-to-it-ness.” We over-estimate how much time we can really invest in doing the deeper, focused work.

If that sounds interesting, you’ll enjoy today’s podcast!
