Make an Impact: Same Message – Different Audience

Several years ago I visited the home of a famous futurist. He was almost 100 years old at the time! We scheduled an appointment and a few weeks later we went to his home to hear him lecture and go on a short tour led by his wife.

Afterward, I learned that he basically gave the same speech and tour over and over again. One person later commented that the information was no longer up to date because much had changed.

But guess what? It didn’t matter to me or any of the others who were there. Why? We were “beginners” and we were there to learn the basics of something we knew very little about.
