The decade of the 2020s has started as we’ve turned the corner, so to speak, on the 2010s. I don’t know about you, but it actually “feels like” we’re at the beginning of something new.

Some people have a way of dragging the past along with them into the future. They let the past define who they are and who they will be. The truth is, even if all of your business efforts have failed miserably in the past… those failures are still in the past.

The past isn’t happening to you anymore. You can have a fresh start. You can start building something better for yourself in 2020. You can build a profitable, easier to manage business if you really want to. The key is, you must be willing to do the (often boring) work and put in the initial effort to get things going.

Many people hesitate to put in the effort in the here and now because they’re still not over the disappointments of the past. I encourage you to treat today as a new day. Not a recycled version of the past. Doubts may come and worries may persist, but feelings and reality are often two different things.

If you’re considering turning the page and starting a new chapter in your business life, I think you’ll enjoy today’s podcast.
