An Online Strategy for Freelancers

Today, I’d like to talk about Freelancers and freelancing strategies. If you’re a freelancer, you may wrestle with issues from time to time due to isolation. Not having people around you to bounce ideas off of as often as you may like takes a bit of getting used to. That said, it’s really important to keep your “headspace” as clear as humanly possible. Negativity can blind you to opportunities you may have otherwise recognized.

I encourage you to unplug from the news for a bit and take a careful look at the world around you. Right now, the current economy seems to be built for freelancers. Almost all the successful business owners I know prefer hiring freelancers over agencies now. It’s something many of you may not be aware of?

Most business owners see hiring an agency as a more expensive option – right out of the box without making a single inquiry. Past experiences have left many jaded. That’s because many times, what an agency delivers falls far short of the client’s expectations. I didn’t say EVERY time, I said MANY times. This is not a new development, either. It’s something to keep in mind.

All things considered, there are plenty of opportunities today to grow a freelancing-type of business. As an added bonus, if you’re a freelancer, the lower-overhead approach to building your online business should fit you like a glove! If you find yourself relating to all the above – I think you’ll really enjoy today’s podcast episode!
